Welcome to the Department of Media Technology at Aalborg University.
The Department of Media Technology at Aalborg University performs research within the development of new media technologies, such as next-generation human-computer interaction, audio-visual effects, human perception, immersive computer systems and new enactive interfaces. The department investigates both the technological and social aspects of these areas and aims to be recognised as expert in utilising the interplay between:
- the possibilities of Information Technology
- the capabilities of Human Sensory Perception and Cognition
In this way we aim to advance Information Technology so that it provides
not only useful everyday tools but also optimised interactive artefacts.
The department is located at three different sites: Copenhagen, Esbjerg and Aalborg.
